    68K Performa

I acquired a Performa 580 today. OS 8.0 16 MB ram, still has 84 MB free in the HD (loaded with applications too). Case is decent shape with no cracks or broken corners. Amazing what some people leave on an abandoned computer....

Color classic guts into Classic case?

I've heard flyback transformers make a high pitched noise before too.

    Classic Mac Confusion?!

It started life as a 128K but had the "memory upgrade" installed which consisted of a new logic board and back cover. I have a 512K that has this upgrade. Nice score BTW :)

    Mac SE Prototype *PICTURES*

Scott and others as well, you may recall my posting of a Plus that appeared to be a prototype / pre-production sample before The Big Crash. I thought I would tag on to this post and see if anyone knows more about how these make it out to the general public etc. I think there have been other...

    Vinyl Records

I just bought a USB turntable last week. Great to have the old vinyl but it will be nice to be able to load the music into the iPod :) Got it at Costco for C$138.00 which is the best price I have seen for these units. I haven't tried it yet due to some other ongoing projects.

    2 SE/30s!

Not so random - they both came from the same school, likely there were several more there at one time that were closely numbered. :)

    Commodore 207, IIci, IIgs KB/Mouse

I like old Commodore stuff too. I have one of those US*8 machines shown on krfkeith's link as well as the earlier US*3 in the ugly green color. A Commodore find I had a while ago http://68kmla.org/forums/viewtopic.php?t=3139&highlight=

Inauguration of Mac Plus on desktop!

I have a Plus case in the garage but it is a bit off color. Is it the front bezel that is broken on yours? I could strip the bezel off if you want it - you'd need to cover postage from Canada though.

    TRS-80 Pocket Computer

I was in a thrift store today and found a TRS-80 Pocket Computer (PC-4) for $12.00. It has it's pouch so it's in good shape cosmetically and appears to work.

Today I found OS/2 v 2.1 on 5.25" foppy as well as "Aces of the Pacific" which is some kind of flight simulator / war game (this one is still shrink wrapped!). Gotta love thrift shops :)
