Hello MLAers! We've re-enabled auto-approval for accounts. If you are still waiting on account approval, please check this thread for more information.
I know I haven't posted much in here lately but had to post my latest conquest which is the 17" ColorSync. I've always wanted a better matching monitor for my beige G3 and this one date wise is perfect.
It would be prudent to verify whether he has the rights to sell the schematics before advocating that they be taken and posted for free. We do know that he worked with them to have the CC and Classic II schematics made.
I thought uniserver paid BOMARC to create some of those schematics in the first place and that's why he has the rights to sell them. Could probably get the actual scoop if you went over to thinkclassic website and asked.
Sorry I was thinking you had the scsi2sd adapter not cf. looking at the PDF for your card it appears as though the card only sets up as a single drive since the jumpers have you select an id.
Instead of making four partitions I'm pretty sure you can have the scsi2sd emulate four separate drives which would accomplish the same thing as putting another physical drive in the system.
I provided info in another thread but you definitely can't use tv and mac at same time on the tv. You will need the tv control panel to switch modes and with mine I quit using coax all together and just use the rca inputs while switching to line since it's all digital here anyways.
As for refunds even if the seller says no returns you can start a return for item not as described and eBay will force the seller to take it back for a full refund and seller pays shipping. (In the U.S. anyway can't speak of other countries.)
I remember a couple other threads here in the past with people having a purple tint on color classic screens, but I don't remember what they ever found out.
Without knowing more about the "box" from the telco I can't add much more. You could go back to trying a hub in between the cc and router that you know works with other machines.
And the 169.254.x.x address your laptop has while plugged into the box means that it is not getting an IP address...
Looking at the pictures from your laptop it's still getting ip settings from wireless so that still doesn't show what the settings are for telco router.
If you're now connecting to the router provided from cable company you need to make sure that it doesn't have different gateway etc compared to router you were plugging into previously.
If you aren't getting a link light on network card add a 10mbit hub in between router and computer. The auto sensing doesn't work a lot of times on newer routers with these old cards.
I'm thinking that label says 2685 which according to this chart http://home.earthlink.net/~gamba2//images/rasterops_card_chart.gifwould make it a rasterops paintboard lightning
I've never had checksum errors but at the same time I'm using a real cd not burnt. For each os there should be a net install image that you double click and then it mounts the rest of the images and starts the install.
I remember someone else just recently wrote about replacing ram sockets for broken arms. They listed where they bought the parts etc. might be worth a search.
