Wifi Extension Development Thread

I’ll get back to you on those questions. Also, want to power it with a Molex to 5v socket adapter if possible. Do you know if this works in OS 8 or 8.1? Or just System 7 only? I usually set up older machines with 2-3 OS for flexibility. I tried to configure the Vonets with 10 half duplex, but then I was having trouble communicating with it without resetting the whole unit.. maybe we could do a zoom call and we could walk through it together.. I have the Bolle back plate with the two spots for antennas so I’d really like to get this set up. I’m almost done with the Micron/Grey Scale setup, which has been a long time goal..

Are you able to contact the vm300 with macwifi in System 7? I wasn't able to do this. I only can preconfigure the vm300 with my MacBook and then can access my network over wifi from System 7 connected to the vm300. I won#t get macwifi to work.

Fooling around with building the Wifi extension to broaden support for other hardware, but can not for the life of me get the libiconv dependency to compile.


Or is there a better way to compile and install a 68k version of this library for use with Retro68?

Does anywone have step-by-step instructions on how to setup the GL-AR300M16?
I've installed the MacWifi extension, but doesn't seem to be talking to the GL-AR300M16 (can't get the list of networks), even though a wireless network connection is made and my Mac SE/30 is able to communicate with an AppleTalk server on the network.

The instructions written below are vague, and can't find any resources here either, making it really unclear what needs to be setup in order for it to work. I do have the Json RPC and ethtool software installed, but the part about how to setup those software and correctly configuring the eth0 eth1 and WWAN interfaces are lacking.
