I found a neat little benchmark program called TimeDrive.
Here is what the program said about my ZuluSCSI Mini.
(apologies again for my super blue photos - CRT screens are hard to photograph)
Is that a normal speed? Am I ahead of the curve? Am I behind? Are there settings I should tweak in the zuluscsi.ini file to better my performance here?
TimeDrive - Macintosh Garden
A disk benchmarking tool. Despite the authors' insistence that this is "yet another disk timer", I'm not aware of many other apps like this that will report a speed in real units (e.g. KB/sec) rather than just comparing to a baseline.
