Well, it's been 4 years and 6 months since my last post... so, how's everyone doing?
I have just rediscovered the 68kmla and decided to reclaim my user id. I was a member of the "Old Forum" with 80 posts between July 6th, 2002 and February 3rd 2003. I was around (though mostly lurking the Vintage forum at MacAddict) when the 68kmla was formed. Good times!
My first computer was a Mac IIsi, which I received as a Christmas present in 1994 (pre-owned, obviously). This was my one-and-only until I drained my bank account to $13 to purchase the original iMac the day it was released in 1998.
I'm not sure how many liberations I have made... over 100 I'm sure... about 60 in my personal collection. Someday, when I get organized there will be a list. That day is not today.
My most recent liberations are non-Mac. A Sun Ultra60 Dual-450 and a Sun SparcStation 20. I won both of these items in an auction a couple weeks ago for $5 each at the establishment where I just happen to administer the network. Imagine that.
Vintage Mac sites are dropping like flies. Hopefully, I can contribute something to this one.
