Hi guys

Here is an update to my software collection thus far. I have tried to make system images of most all disks, most of them were good and I was able to do so, some I was not but I have other images of those. For the most part I do have image of most system software.

This collection includes System 1.0, 1.1, 2.0, System 3.x with 512ke and Plus System Tools. System 4.0 and 4.1, 5.0, 6.0 up to 6.0.8 and various System 7 disks. As well as many printer disks, Hypercard and other printing tools and various other disks. I have some loose game disks and other programs such as MS Works and Word, Excel and others. If you have any questions let me know. I also have a fully complete Picasso box for my 128k that has all original disks as well, those disks are above what is shown here. I recently received System 6.0 in the original box, it's on my shelf with the other boxed System sets but not shown in this picture. I also almost acquired System 5.0 in original box but lost the auction while I was at work. Thanks!

Would you be willing to send copies of the images to anybody (hypothetically, via some means other than this forum, of course)?

Looks like my collection of boxed System software - except I liquidated my OS X stuff because I just don't see the point.

TheWhiteFalcon - Yes I just heard about the new KQ, pretty excited to see how it turns out. A new Space Quest is also in the works from the original creators of the game, called SpaceVenture and is planned to come out next year.

CC - I would be more than willing to help anyone out that needed some images, either mail a CD or make the original floppy boot disks themselves or some other way. I am bringing home a USB ZIP drive today and I hope my MBP running Yosemite will see it, that way I can transfer all the images from my OS 9 machine. I could move them other ways but this would be really easy. I have made most of the images on a Macintosh Classic running 6.0.8 with DiskCopy 4.2 (best for 400k floppies but also good for 800k). Anything above System 5.0 such as System 6 I use my Performa with DiskCopy 6.3.3. I still have some disks I have not made images for but again I have collected other images of system disks and also have them on my computers. I really wanted to preserve this software before it was too late, even most privately run websites seem to no longer have the images they use to. Macintosh Garden still has a lot but some don't work properly and they don't have every version.
