I just got a SimplyTV card by eMachines for my LC 575. It works fine through S-video, which is what I wanted. However, is there a way to get it to display only one monitor/screen at a time? I know I can't do both monitors at once, since I only have 1MB of video RAM. But for some reason it only lets me adjust it to show the regular OS screen on one screen, and an extended desktop on the other, either screen being the left or right depending on what you choose in the Monitors & Sound panel.
I don't want the extended, if I can help it, as it causes serious problems when I run the mouse to the edges of the screen. Essentially, the problem is it cannot seem to output at the same resolution on each monitor (TV out and the built-in monitor), one is larger res than the other (one at 640, one at 528). Any suggestions?
EDIT: The guy who sold it to me emailed me an *.app file with the software for the card, but I don't have OS X to open it... any chance of anyone having this software in usable form, or maybe being able to extract it and then send it back to me so I can use it on 7.6.1? Thanks for any help
