Running out of ideas with this Mac Classic II

So I had my logic board recapped by a member here on the forum and he did a fantastic job! However, I'm still experiencing the following problem:

When I turn the computer on, I get a startup bong, but absolutely no picture. I hear the disk spinning up but there's no display.

Prior to this problem the disk drive was not functioning.

Is there something I can trace both of these problems too, especially now that I know my logic board is in good, working order?

Have you checked the PRAM battery, to see if it is at the correct voltage? It should read about 3.67 volts DC. You could also try zapping the PRAM.

This is also a shot in the dark, but you could use a continuity tester on a digital multimeter and probe around the Bourns filters in series with the SCSI and floppy drive ports, if there are any. I'm using this as a reference, even though it's dedicated more to the SE/30. Maybe even check the SCSI controller chip.

Check around and report back.

His problem must be outside of the motherboard, the board works in another machine (perfect video, sound, scsi disk, floppy works, pram is 3.6v).
