Replacement for felt pad in 400K Drives

I am missing the felt pad and plastic insert that assists the 400K drives in reading a disk.

Two had popped out on my machines, but I was able to find one and reattach. The other probably never had this since I received it.

Any ideas on what I can use to replace this pad?

This is a very random example:

http://www.lumberliquidators.com/ll/c/Heavy-Duty-Felt-Pads-Pack-Value-Bag-Norge-F9852/10024949?Wt.ps_id=PS_google_1023&CAWELAID=1925959749&catargetid=1823037836&cadevice=c&cagpspn=pla&gclid=CLmX-brvuLwCFY1AMgodVD8Ajg

They come in different colors and thickness. But the question is, are they soft or will they scratch disk media badly? I have no clue. But if they are made from similar material I would think a small hole punch would work well to make many from one pad. Thickness is not entirely critical.

But really just a guess as to how well these would work.

The problem is the plastic piece, the felt should be easy to replicate in comparison.
What plastic part are you referring to?

*Edit - do you mean the pressure arm?

The arm is there, but there is a small plastic piece with the felt pad that goes on the end of the arm. That is completely missing.

I did not even know that little holder came off. Probably easier finding a whole new arm with it. Which will be about 1% easier than making a new one.
