Problem after transferring .wav files from pc

I have a file structure copied from a CD (ISO 9660 (Joliet)) that contains a lot of .wav-files that do not seem to be recognised in System (OS)7 when I double click on them. They are not seen in the "Open"-window by the applications that are supposed to be able to open .wav files either. I understand that this may be because they lack their resource fork... Is there any way to "batch process" all these wav files, preferably in one go, so that they will be recognised/opened correctly by the System 7 applications or any other trick i can do to accomplish this? Thanks.

The title might be misleading: The CD was PERHAPS created on a pc.. (BTW I have an iMac OSX10.11, a G4 running MacOS9.2.2, a ColorClassic, a SE/30 (and a pc) available.)
