I installed CHUD on a 12" PowerBook, running X.5, a while ago to see if I could bring the processor temperatures down a little. That did not work as expected, as I couldn't see any difference. I then used the built-in uninstaller to, well, uninstall it.
Ever since, in the Terminal, the command "purge" gives me the following error:
purge
WARNING: Could not determine processor information.
WARNING: Could not determine memory controller information.
WARNING: Could not determine Operating System information.
Any suggestions as to how to get my beloved "purge" back? It is a handy tool on a ram-limited ppc machine.
