bluekatt Well-known member Mar 13, 2008 #4 no there is no way what so ever to get beyond the 64 mb ceilling with out re designing the powerbookand creating your own motherboard good luck with that one you can use a cf card as virtual ram which is faster then the stock hd or ide controller

Bunsen Admin-Witchfinder-General Mar 14, 2008 #5 Yep - VM on CF is the only way. Once you have a PCMCIA (not Cardbus) CF sleeve, you only need a smallish CF card - 64MB would double your RAM for example. Format it as a Mac hard drive, then assign it to Virtual Memory.
