NIGHT STALKER
G-3, HEH! . . .

. . . with the right upgrade card, it's the burliest, nastiest, meanest, bar-fighter in the G-4 lineup! }:)

Think: the soccer midfielder that NOBODY wants to have to lock horns with, there may be wingers that are more fleet, centers/forwards/goalies that are more sleek to grab the GLORY, and bigger screened defensemen/fullbacks that are there in the pinch to back them up, but the midfielder/halfback is the HEART, SOUL & GUTS of the game!

IMHO, of course! :approve:

< . . . former left-half rocks to B.T.O. psych-up tunes, from back in the day, inside his twisted noggin' . . . >

I spilled coffee into my pismo 4x at the coffee shop that I was going to regularly. I would rush home, take it apart and let it dry out. Sure enough, 4 hours later, I would hit the power button and "BONG!!!" it would start up. Those were some rock'n laptops I tell you. The best laptop of all of them I have used (including thinkpads :p ). Apple's used to be known for surviving conditions with barely a scratch that other pc laptops (even the thinkpads) wouldn't even come out with pieces not missing from the entire case.

Apple built those laptops like they would last forever, and hell if it doesn't. Apple's early machines last longer than the throw-away machines now. Then again, not everyone could afford to replace their computer bi or tri-yearly to upgrade. When the low-cost LC's cost over $1 Grand, it wasn't easy to sell to people when it would die and they would have to fork over $1-2k just for another machine because their perfectly fine machine gave up the ghost.

Lately, the only Apple I can say that is good, is the Mini. AFAIK, it's the only machine out of the whole bunch of recent machines that hasn't had a single recall associated with them (Maybe the HDD, not sure). Even among the G4/PPC ones
