Hey, random query:
Does anybody know of a random sequence generator that's mildly configurable and ideally drop-dead simple?
I'd like it to run on OS 9, but if it were carbon and also ran on X, I wouldn't mind that much. I'd rather not use a spreadsheet to do this, just for overhead reasons. (In particular, I'm looking for a tool to run on vtools to generate random 8-character passwords.)
Even more ideally, if you could copy/paste in/out of it that would be great.
I looked in OS9's keychain app and it doesn't have a password suggester, the way OS X's does.
I can admin vtools from an OS X machine, but I'm not always at a suitable one.
Thank you in advance!
