Original PowerMac G5 2003 with the new Bluetooth module - is it possible?

I'm going to buy and install the newer internal Bluetooth module A1115 which came with later PowerMac G5 models and capable to support BT2.2. My G5 originally supplies with the A1044 module with the only BT1.1 capabilities.
Should I try this newer A1115 in my Mac? Physical dimensions and connector seems the same. Are them interchangeable?

For A1115 card there’s a video on YouTube showing a successful installation of this model into PowerMac G4. So, I’d try to fit mine into the early G5

I remember that, I used to have a late G5 with that board. I think I did try to pass down the stock airport card from the Mac Pro to it - but I can’t remember if I was successful

….no, I was NOT successful, I actually found the board and the original airport card is still on it.

My PowerMac G5 is an early model from 2003, it has two separate cards: one AirPort Express for WiFi connectivity and the other one for Bluetooth. Today I’ve accrued a Bluetooth card A1115 model with BT2.2 support and it fits seamlessly!
