Hi all,
I'm currently restoring a PowerBook 520c, which has a 320MB 2.5" SCSI HD but presents with a startup password request via Norton Disklock (~ 1994 dated driver). Booting from CD it won't even detect the SCSI drive in Apple System Profiler or HD formatting tool. The computer unusually had the floppy drive removed (but working), suggesting this was a rather secure Mac!
Any tips on how to remove the driver/format the drive? There isn't much online apart from formatting the drive in anything but a Mac, being 2.5" though will need adapters which I'd like to avoid.
Thanks
JB
