Need Dimensions of the Pismo . . .

. . . not the B.S. Apple specs! Their width figure is fine, but if a cable or card needs to stick out the sides that spec is B.S. too! I want to know how high the top of the Lid is off the desktop when it's in a working config. Got feets? Add that onto the height measurement too!

As for depth, I need to know how deep it is with all the necessary holes are filled in on the back with all the necessary cables except those *&^%&$^%#^%$#^%$^&ly long SCSI & bFDD adapter POS Cables!

Gotta have the depth dimension with power, video, network cables, etc. in place & operating!

I need to create a spot in my shelf/workstation system for my eventual acquisition of the most seen in movies PB ever made!

Go for 18" deep, 18" wide and 13" high.

On the other hand, it only has to be 16" deep if you do not have a yo-yo adapter sitting behind it. Actually, you could have a little hanger/hooky thing on the rear panel of the designated area that would hold the adapter as well.

You could also do just 16" wide and still have room for most cables and(in my measurements) a linksys WPC54G. I would still advise 18" wide and deep though.

Also, Pismo does not have SCSI so you do not even have to be worried about that.

I will get a pic up in a sec. I might want to warn you that this is a Lombard, but Apple says the Lombards are the pretty much the same size as the Pismo.. so.. it should be ok.

I may have been a bit generous with the space but it is for the best.
You were also quite generous with your time and your considerable technical photography skills, thank you very much comrade MacJunky!

Try not to go smaller with the height though, you need enough room for fingers and to open/close the display. (13" was based on lid straight up with a bit of space)
Advice duly noted, 13" will be NoPro and all the shelves are supported by 1/2" threaded rod so re-configuration of relative heights will be a snap. The project has grown considerably in height and scope. It was originally to be a low unit set against a pastel Apple logo yellow wall with a nice Photo of an Iris and an awesome poster/print of a Georgia O'Keefe floral/vaginal painting . . .

but now it’s growing closer to the ceiling . . . ::)
