while I know its not exactly a 68k/ppc software its nevertheless easily available for more recent osx's nevertheless so I decided to try post about it here rather than in the lounge...

just curious if anyone else here has tried this game as well? it rather is like evo/evn but in its own graphic&storyline variations nevertheless

I've already been at it on and off for a while by now ever since I decided to download it last month (although I do recall that I played a somewhat different much earlier version of it for a little bit on some non-mac computer a few years ago too)

if anyone naturally wanted to ask, funny enough for my particular style of playing the game I have these ships at this point;
shocker: hawking cruiser with three different emp missles and a few primary weapons
big horn: hawking cruiser
blazing pony: schroedinger scout
red thruster: soromid reaver

big horn is the oldest ship to me atm after having started with that basic slow ship then trade to the quicksilver then a nicely outfitted rhino transporter before I finally replaced rhino with this cruiser especially as by then cargo runs were starting to not be that money-interesting to me aside to that they don't earn reputation points much (I did do a few empire courier jobs with the quicksilver before but still..)

big horn has rammed too-many-to-count pirates and just a few flf ships all to death, even then a few times I've finally finished a fight with all shield gone and my 2600mj armor being down to only 1000-1800 left

blazing pony was the first non-tradein second ship to add to my name and it seem like an aptly name because it is small and can be easy to miss, and oh boy its very fast (I have it doing 445m/s, a few too many times the pirates have tried to suddenly rake me but I manage to continue to the jumpgate without losing all my little shield)

red thruster only has two partial kills so far and i'm still trying to get the hang of using that kind of unusual ship myself, may preserve with it someday or it may just be a ship that simply sits in the equipment tab who knows

shocker .. I dunno what made me think of that name but its only a few real days old by now, I decided to buy a second hawking ship as to outfit it for emp purpose aside to a bit of a different structure outfits altogether compared to the 'big horn' and I've successfully managed to disable four pirate ships for reward points (although a 5th one was a little too touchy, I blew it up instead but oh well thankfully it was an "alive or dead" kind of open-ended bounty on that one)
