Mirovideo DC30 Plus capture board - any knowledge?

Hullo. I've been wanting to get a video capture card for my 9600 for a while and grabbed a complete Mirovideo DC30 Plus set the other day. Perusing the manual that came with it, it only specifies PC hardware, no mention of Mac. There's not much info to be found by Google, but one forum post I did find says that the Plus version is cross-platform. Can anybody confirm that?

I do have an Apple PC Compatibility card in there, running Win98, so perhaps I could use this card via that. Does anyone know that the PC Card can access all the PCI slots in the 9600? Also, I'd be wanting to capture video to an external Firewire drive, will Win98 be able to manage that? Actually, now I think about it, that external drive is Mac formatted, so no go. Bugger.

Any help appreciated!

if memory serves, Miro's DC30 and plus had no tangible hardware differences; only in the software bundle.

Miro was acquired by Pinnacle some decade ago, so you might want to see if you can dig up something there.

Cool, that supports what little info I've gleaned from elsewhere. I'll hit the net up for the Mac software package later on and we'll see!

I don't think those PC cards can access any PCI cards in the mac. If you want to capture video on a 9600 use something native to that mac (old Media 100, Targa 2000). Problem is those cards are hard to find these days.
