I wasn't aware there was another source. I would also just rather buy kits so I didn't have to figure out what I need. Apologies.
The topic at the beginning of this thread is Logic Board caps. I provide tantalum and axial replacements for most of the logic board caps that Apple used on the pre - 2000 Macs.
The link you were looking at was for sets of Analog Board caps, which is also a very useful service and I wish CC333 was still providing them. But different from what I provide.
I do not sell analog board kits, although I have a stock of the MR824 rectifiers used on some Analog Boards. Happened across a good lot on Ebay and it's more than I'm ever going to be able to use.
It's good that more folks have learned how to order their own from Mouser and Digi-Key and such. When I started providing them, most folks found that too complex, and Digi-Key had a $25 minimum order. That was the main reason I started providing them. So that folks who might otherwise find getting the caps too daunting, would be able to get the caps and fix their Macs.
