Ok i have cleaned the inside and put it together!

And the screen is now not fitting an image, it needs adjusting! and i am not smart when it comes to these things!

Also when i got it the screen shows these lines going vertical down the screen all over the screen! When i hold down the interrupt button i see the lines slowly go down the CRT in sections. Also these dots apeare in a new spot each time i turn it on, i think these dots are where the crt is currently drawing the image when i turn it on. The screen also has not a gray theme but a black one any ideas what i can do to fix most of these problems?

Also if you could i would want to know where to get a boot disk and a mouse?

Yes i got a picture also the screen has resolved the side problem on its on!

But i still see these lines! This picture from another page is the same. But the lines go on and off each time the floppy has the ? mark go on and off. Also the backgrounds not grey its black PLUS the dots are on the screen in a new place and shape each time i turn the computer on.

Is this your actual picture? or one you grabbed from ME.

Posting someone elses pictures claiming that as your issue makes about as much sense as a blow up dart board.

Please post a quick video or a clip of YOUR issue. on YOUR machine.

Yours but its shows the same things that mines showing. But now the lines are only at the top and bottom and flash on and off when the floppy icon shows the ? mark symbol. I will go get some video..

But its worse now it was the same but its now changed.

I must support TK on this one. What you did is extremely bad form. If you decide to act as such again, it is likely you will quickly find yourself in an echo chamber here.

What is the fault code at the end of your video ? hard to see from the video.

Have you tried with another set of Ram sticks ? tried removing the Roms chasing for bad contacts ?

Cant read it. Also i was holding down the interrupt switch to show the lines going down the screen and it came up when i let go. But im going to get a new logic board the current one is in bad shape and also seems to be a source of the problem.. Wish me good luck!

Although you said you were going to buy a new board, I'm going to post this anyway since there may be hope left for your current board:

Is the RAM good? If so, try cleaning the SIMM slots to rule those out as an issue. If the SIMM slots have plastic clips, there's a chance they've broken and the SIMMs are no longer making good contact with the slot. The Plus also has two resistors for changing the memory configuration (look for R8 and R9 near the back), which might cause issues if configured incorrectly (not sure).

You said in another thread that you accidentally broke a leg off of one of the ROM IC's. If you have decent soldering skills, you might want to try soldering a wire to whatever remains of the pin (if anything is left) and then soldering the other end of the wire to the board.

The boards dead because i see a scratch across many traces. And i cant solder, nor do i want to try. I Still want to wash the front case piece, Even if its been a week or two i dont know if i can. Also discharged is out of the picture for the moment because i need to go get some clips at a hardware store.
