So I thought the caps were the issue since I put the motherboard in a converted plus and it wouldnt boot. Recapped it no luck. looked at the roms and noticed datee was correct but two different roms so what the hell took the roms out of the plus, put them in the 512 and boom it booted. So the roms are toast I guess. So I put the board in with original analog board and yuck I get checkerboard and no chime. So I take the analog board and screen out of the plus and put it in the 512 (was a conversion to plus so back into a 512 it goes as the faceplate apple was missing paint). Then I turn it on and zap chime then no picture. I am thinking seriously lol. Almost in tears and sweating I notice bad solder joint on the power connector. I reflow that and (whew) Its all good to go. There went my day.
