Mac SE 30 Shufflepuck cafe error type 10

Hi,

I'm using a Mac SE 30 running Mac Os 7.5.3 + 5MB RAM with a BlueSCSI v2 and I started playing with shufflepuck cafe.
Strangely it generates an Error Type 10 after playing for a few minutes. I have to reset the Mac to use it again.

Any idea what could be the issue ?

Thanks

You only have 5MB RAM so this is probably not the case, but… you don’t have 32-bit addressing enabled, by any chance?

My sources say "Line 1111 Trap Error." Not being a software guy, I have no idea what that means. I would chalk it up to using 7.5.3. I'd use 6.0.8. or maybe even 7.1.

I’ve played Shufflepuck just fine on an SE/30 running OS 7.5.3, but it is completely incompatible with 32-bit addressing.

I haven't enabled the 32 bit addressing. Is that by installing Mode 32?
Could it be an issue with the RAM / would it be worth running a memory test with a suitable application?

Well, maybe you have bad RAM in that case, or maybe one of the sticks isn’t making good contact with its socket. I’d suggest trying a different set of RAM entirely.

Also, 5MB really isn’t enough for System 7.5.3. I’d suggest 8MB as a minimum, or run System 7.1 instead.

Playing Star Wars, if I pause the game and open the File menu, I always get either a bus error or error 10.
I removed the 4*256KB RAM to only keep 1MB, I then installed Mode32 and enabled 32 bits but that didn't sort the issue.

I tried again with Mac OS 7.0.1 and it worked. Does it mean I have to add more RAM to use 7.5.3 ?
