Linux and the Art of Burning Bootable Mac CDs (and a reference for the rest of you)

Sorry, I don't have other operating systems to test on, so the guide is Linux-centric.

I wrote a quick-ish guide to making your own, custom, bootable CD for a retro mac from a modern computer. Hopefully it will help some people not have to create a pile of coasters. I realise it isn't the most difficult thing in the world, but... it is getting more tricky as time goes on.

While targeting Linux, basically, all of the tricky bits here, specifically relating to the emulator you use to create the correctly formatted disk image, are universal to any platform. The tricky bit that I can't verify is what CD burning software correctly burns one of these disk images.

If anyone whats to test their CD writing software, I can provide a known good iso image that I have already confirmed will boot my IIci when written to a CD.

Please feed back any corrections.
