iMac G4 - no restore CD

I just bought an iMac G4 on eBay with a blank hard disk and no CDs. It only has 128mb of RAM so I want to put OS 9 on it (It's the 700mhz model that shipped with 9.2.2 and 10.1.2 installed, so I know it can boot OS 9).

Problem is, from what I've found it needs 9.2.2 (not 9.2.1), AND all 9.2.2 versions are system specific. Is there anything I can do to image my 9.2.1 CD (or 9.1 CD) and make a bootable OS 9 installer for this mac?

Does anyone have a restore CD for one of these that they can image for me?

Any advice is appreciated.

Thanks

You could put it into firewire disk mode and install OS 9 then update it to 9.2.2.

Got it working—I connected the iMac with target disk mode to my G4 tower, booted the tower into 9.1 copied over the system folder from the tower, then ran the 9.2.1 and 9.2.2 updates. iMac started right up!
