I-O DATA IDSC21-E SCSI-IDE adapter and LC 475

I have two I-O Data IDSC21 adapters that I bought ages ago.

I'd like to know if anyone else here has one of these and is using it successfully with a 68k Mac?

I want to use it with my LC 475 to replace the HD with a CF card.

Here's what it looks like:

Try it and let us know. Several members of the list have used the Acard 7720U SCSI-IDE adapter in similar applications with success, so I expect your card will work too.

I'm hosting that file because I currently have 10 of those boards in use in various machines (mostly macs, a few suns, hp, etc.) all connected to ide-cf adapters. I'm not a big fan of ye olde spinning, noisy media. If you have any specific questions, I'll do my best to answer them. A general writeup of my initial experiments is here: http://synack.net/~bbraun/ridsce.html

Does anybody know where to find those (or the equivalent Acard 7720U) for cheap, or not so expensive? The Acard is still sold for around $150. Some appear on eBay from time to time, but also very expensive.

I've been looking for a long time for one, or even better for a 2.5'' SCSI-CF adapter (think PowerBook).

They seem to have gotten quite expensive. A little over a year ago, I bought 10 of these for about $100 off of ebay. You can still find them on ebay, but seem to be significantly more expensive. I don't know of a cheaper source though.
