Thanks everyone for your info on this. I really appreciate it.

I have more cards somewhere but they’re not all in one place and as easily accessible as these were.

NI GPIB/HPIB card. Used probably with LabView to communicate with test equipment like oscilloscopes. multimeters, spectrum analysers, etc. If the bit on the front (the screw-on thing that looks like a terminator) is the same as mine, it's literally just an extender so that the port sticks out of the socket far enough that you can plug stuff into it.

That's the Associated Press logo on that sticker, isn't it? What on earth were they doing with GPIB? That would be interesting to find out...

Lots of potential purposes for GPIB - commonly found on old computer controlled industrial equipment in applications where RS232 was too slow.

Almost all clone Ethernet cards used a DP8390 because that is what Apple's cards used and it worked with the built-in Apple drivers.

Well the one 8•24 GC sold on ebay recently fetch only $85 …
I'd say that is abnormally cheap for a GC!
I hope it's the beginning of a downward trend (perhaps due to waning interest or something), and not an anomaly, because I have a IIfx (I forget what card I do have in it, but I think it's pretty good. Not 8•24 GC good, but decent and adequate for what little I do), and $85 is a price I can afford with some minor effort!

I think it was an anomaly sadly, it was listed by part number and doesn't seem to have international shipping available, so very reduced visibility.

Someone did well winning that.
