G4 and more!

It started on Wednessday. I picked up a Dell Latitude C600 (no drives, battery, or RAM), Inspiron 4000 (no drives, battery, or RAM), and an IBM ThinkPad 365ED (some broken plastics, no HDD) from the local college surplus for $1 each. Then yesterday I got an IBM PS/2 and a custom built 766MHz Celeron tower with 192MB RAM, CD-RW, and no HDD. Then today at the dump I found a Tandy 1000 TL/2 with a CM-11 color monitor. Then I got a 350MHz Yikes G4 from the VAR where I do some work on Sundays. It had no RAM, drives, or a power supply. I took a PC power supply (somewhere around 400 or 500W) and did the rewing (only two wires!) and wired the fan in the G4 to one of the floppy drive power connectors. I put in a couple 128MB RAM sticks, and a 15GB HD. I also put in a Pioneer DVD-R drive, I only have OS 9 on it, I'll install Tiger at the VAR next weekend.

Wewt.
