Ok, last picture of the 512Ke HyperDrive Mac, fat & happy.
After I repaired the floppy drive today I carefully stuffed all its guts back in and gave it test run.
Yeah, the screen is bit off center after all the analog board work but I'm not going to mess with it.
I've already had to spend waaay more time on this than I intended.
But there's one last nagging issue.
The hard drive has always reported only about ~6.5mb of available space and Hypertools only saw ~6.5mb
That is until I had to reinstall the Hypertools to the system file after the analog board failed.
Now the Hypertool utility sees the full 10mb but it's still telling me the HD is full at ~6.5mb.
It's still running the same software I got it with in 1996.
So, instead of leaving well enough alone I may reformat the HD and install a fresh copy of the OS.
Maybe...
