Color Classic 640 X 480 upgrade with Mac TV?

I was reading some very old posts on this forum.  I came across this:

An interesting side note here: I put my Mac TV logic board in the CC and not only did it boot up without any special enablers, the screen also had a default resolution of 640x480 without any software or hardware hacks to the analogue board. This tells me that the logic board has all the necessary output to send the proper signal to the analogue board. This is likely due to the fact that the Mac TV was designed to output 640x480 TV resolution, but I have no idea what aspect of the logic board differs to allow it. It also makes me wonder if the CC wasn't originally considered for a Compact Mac TV variant. This would explain why the CC was designed with stereo audio hardware in place (Interestingly none of the pre-580 models have stereo input, except via PDS slots). The reason why the LC 520 came into existence in the first place was because Sculley had bad eyes and took one look at the CC and declared they needed a bigger all-in-one: never mind the Mac had sold millions without one in the first place.

That almost sounds like a very safe way to have 640 X 480 in a Color Classic. But the Mac TV uses a 68030 processor.  I like a mod where I can upgrade to a 68040 better.

I see a non working Mac TV on ebay right now.  Probably overpriced at $500 and the seller (with bad feedback) willl not ship but will deliver to NY, NY:

I am in Ecuador, and postage would be too much.  But I would like to buy the logic board for this just to play with it....

the color clasic board is the lc520 board.  It just like the LC550 board is a direct swap into the cc or vise versa.  Just cost saving for the company as to have a compact still in the lineup.  The analog board is different  for the 640x480.  Thats why there is a hack.  The 575 needs an enabler as it was never meant to have the smaller resolution.

The only thing is the mac TV board is a modified lc board with a built in tv tuner, no added like the performas.  It is unique and the mac tv is black making more unique as it were.
