Hello. I have a blue and white G3/400 running macOS 8.6 and when I put an audio CD into the mac, it will play, pause and stop the CD but won't allow me to change tracks. It will play all the tracks in order. But I can't skip forward or backward to different tracks while it's playing.
If I am playing a track, the display briefly shows the next track number, but then quickly reverts back to the track number being played.
If I press "stop" and then skip tracks, then press play, it'll play the desired track.
Any ideas?
The drive in use is a Toshiba DVD-ROM SD-M1912, with jumper set to master. It's the only drive on the ATA channel.
