BlueSCSI Plugged into AppleCD 300 Adpater

I am looking for a CN50 male to DB25 female adapter so that I could plug my BlueSCSI, with external DB25 plug, into the back of my AppleCD300 which has CN50 connectors. I cant seem to find anything when Googling. Does anyone have any idea where I might find one?

You maybe could use a standard DB 25 to CN50 SCSI cable and connect your BlueSCSI using a DB25 gender changer.
Or, if you have a BlueSCSI with internal 50 pin flat ribbon cable connector, you can build your own adapter using a connector like this:

Do you have a bluescsi v1 or v2?

If it's a v1 then it likely won't work at all. I've never been able to get a v1 to sit happily on the same bus as any other real drive, including CD-ROM drives. Also, if you're planning to use it with a Power Macintosh (or even a fast Quadra) then you will likely have trouble too. The v1 just isn't very good.

I can't attest to the bluescsi v2's compatibility but I'm sure someone else here can.

Huh. I have both a V1 and a V2 and had no issues with either working in my Quadra 800. I have the V1 which has the regular cable connector inside my SC20 hard drive enclosure using its power supply and the cable so it truly is an external "hard drive" setup - which sounds similar to what you are wanting to do as well. I currently have that one on my Apple IIe though and use the V2 which has the external case with the 25 pin plug on the back of the Quadra. But the V1 worked fine for me on the Quadra in the external case until I got the V2.

Well a Bluescsi V2 does not work on the IIfx when daisy-chained behind the CD drive. Could this be because of the odd way things need terminated on the IIfx?
