Apple 2 composite capture

Hi all,

I am looking to capture the video output of the Apple 2 - I know it's a special signal which works-ish with modern monitors and capture devices.
I have just got an OSSC for VGA/RGB/Component capture and there is a "composite add-on" available which is likely based on the Koryuu transcoder. This accepts composite and outputs component/RGB for the OSSC to digest.

My question is: does anybody know if these add-on cards or the Koryuu are compatible with Apple 2 signals?

Koryuu: https://videogameperfection.com/products/koryuu-transcoder/

If not, what would be the best solution to get Apple 2 composite into RGB/Component for my OSSC to capture?

Cheers!

What about setting up a DSLR (on tripod?) and just videoing the display connected to the Apple II? Not super sophisticated, but with a zoom lens and rigid setup (and DSLR/lens on manual focus) it could work?

Well, that's what I've been doing so far but

1. I don't want to get out the Apple monitors every time I'm using an Apple
2. The footage is never nice unless you come up with a complex setup to avoid ambient reflections
3. The whole point is to avoid shooting a screen, which is what I've been doing so far! :)
