The generic "Apple Enet" driver will work. It should be on later OSes like 8.5 and up.

I cant even get OS 9 to install. its doing something stupid.

It boots off the CD, format the drive, go into the installer and install the mac os. using Apple Enet and Apple CS II Ethernet drivers checked.

Then it installs just fine. reboot, remove the disk and the second it pops up with the Mac OS 9 screen, BOOM Unemplemented Trap.

Shift key to boot without extensions changes nothing. i reinstalled again just in case i missed something. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....

It was just booting into OS 9 fine. I reformatted the drive using the Special/Erase Disk function because the OS9 i was using was from the 5400. So i decided to reinstall using the 6500 machine.

Now after reinstalling, i end up with this. stuck...

Nevermind, I figured it out..

There is a bug in the installer i guess. You have to do an uncustomised basic install FIRST then once booted, customize it.

At least that worked for me.
