Always having to log in....

Does anyone else find they frequently need to relog in even though they have selected the "log in everytime" option when they enter their user name and password? I am finding that I have to do this frequently, even though I am here almost every day.

I've never had a problem. What browser/OS are you using? Is your browser set up to accept cookies from 68kmla.org?

OS 10.4.10

Safari 2.0.4

iMac with 2.16 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo

Safari is set to accept cookies from sites I navigate to.

Often occurs after a seemingly slow connection to the 68kMLA. Not sure if it's an issue that's related or not.

Happens to me all the time regardless of browser.

It tends to happen more when the server gets slow FWIW.

Peace,

Drew

It happened again. Slow to connect, had to log in. Also no indication of new posts.... I know there are based on the date / time of last post on some of the topics yet the little flashing icons are not there.

I haven't had any login problems, however the last few weeks every time I visit the forum it either loads extremely slow or doesn't load at all. It's frustrating trying to browse topics and I usually just give up and try again later. With that said it seems to be running ok right now.

I have noticed as well that the email that is supposed to come when someone replies in a thread you've posted in has quit working. The box is still checked in my profile for this option.

I'm getting problems quite alot too with slow loading or even time-outs when attempting to connect to the site. Other times it gives an error message basically along the lines of "Too many connections to database" and then some errors about SQL. This often seems to happen in early afternoon here, about 1400 or 1500 GMT but in the evenings things are generally fine.

Different browsers and machines don't seem to make any difference in my experience, and the problems also exist if I try to connect from a different internet connection, ie. not at home.
