Sometimes the most frustrating problems are the ones that you completely understand. I moved a few system resources from the start up folder on my G3 iBook (running OS 9,) and now the system shows a question mark each time I attempt to start it up. Is there any way I can move an item back to the start up folder with the machine in this state?

Boot up from a OS9 CD. Back then, it started up to the finder

I did the same thing with my duo. The only way to fix something like that is to find a startup disk for your computer or pull the drive, hook it up to another computer (with a usb adapter), and move whatever you move back where its supposed to go.
