I was actually thinking of something like a custom telnet/BBS interface that uses the IP.Board API on the backend.

I may be stirring the pot here a bit, but do any of you access this forum from your classic Macs?  With all of the recent discussion about more modern web browsing, I was curious if anyone's ever considered building something like a telnet interface to this site.

Thanks everyone! I opened it up last night and put 4 of the original 1MB SIMMs in Bank B and it started up immediately. My hope was to only use the new SIMMs since they are 60ns vs the 80ns originals, but I can always max it out at 128 later if I want.

I'm looking for a way to switch a single ADB keyboard/mouse between a couple of Macs and a IIGS.  Is this a thing? I was looking on eBay and found this s-video switch.  Any reason something like this wouldn't work (accepting of course to NOT switch the devices while anything is on)...

That's the Apple Joystick II, isn't it?  IIRC this is a DB9 connector normally.  I think you're right, this isn't compatible with the Mac.

I got my logic board back from Uniserver and I no longer get those bus error bombs I was getting before!  Does anyone have any recommendations for an SE/30 web browser?  MacWeb seems to never finish loading a page and iCab just hangs after it starts rendering.  I'm inclined to think it's not a...

I've got a working LC 475 and as I recall when we bought it there was some promise of a future upgrade path to PPC.  Specifically, I seem to recall there being an Apple-provided upgrade path. Is this a thing? If so, what are the options?

That doesn't really surprise me.  If I recall, I installed the drive in this when I first got it and I can't remember if that caddy was in there or not.  My plastic molding won't hold the LED, it's basically flush with the case. I was looking to see if I could find a replacement that does have...

Ah-ha! I found the LED pins on the bottom of the drive.  For whatever reason, removing the drive from the caddy never occurred to me :) This is another story.  My caddy doesn't have the spot for the LED to mount!  Were there models that shipped with a different one?

Will these games not run from a mounted floppy image?  I haven't run across anything like that, yet...

Where does the HDD LED connect?  My drive doesn't have a place to plug it in and I didn't see one on the logic board (though I just sent it in so I can't check).

Do you have (or mind taking) a picture of where the LED is slotted to the chassis?

Is this just a high pitched tone?  I have a LC 475 that makes this noise I can only describe as a high pitched tone.  I thought it was the old hard drive, but maybe I need to look again.
