Yeah, to be honest, I kinda burned out on this hobby. Old computers are fun at first, but they end up being a lot of work. The site is coming up for renewal anyways, so I figured it was time.
I've already had a few folks offer to host mirrors, so it's not completely going away.
Thanks guys
Hi guys,
I'm not sure where to post this, but it's A/UX-related, so the software-forum seems appropriate. After ten years, I have decided to shut down http://www.aux-penelope.com. The site will be up for at least another few weeks, so feel free to grab a mirror if you find it useful. I will...

There's an ssh-2.4.0 package here, but I think it's just the client:

I finally got my hands on a CRT monitor, and a proper PC to Mac video cable. I tried every setting on my sync-adapter. No luck... The CRT monitor won't sync at all.
I've ordered another Toby, but I'm starting to think I need a real Mac RGB 13/14 inch monitor
I have a Quadra 610 with two VRAM simms... not sure what size they are, but I can check for you on Monday. I'm pretty sure the C610 and Q610 use the same VRAM.
I just picked up an old Toby framebuffer (820-0198-A7) to use in my IIcx. The card seems to lose sync every few seconds - I'm trying to narrow down the cause.
I'm using an LCD monitor with a home-made Mac-PC video cable... I can use this cable on other video cards, and the monitor will do...
On closer inspection, there is a "greasy discoloration" around some of the caps... I think a capacitor-replacement is in order. I have some experience in soldering, so I don't think it will be a serious problem. [;)] ]'>
