    Yes I ever recapped a duo board (can’t remember which) and it exploded twice, the 3rd time I soldered the caps in and I did not power up, I gave the board a wash and it works thereafter. There could be still flux underneath certain chips or caps I guess.

    Did you copy ColorDesk into Control Panel folder? Then it should work

    All My Macs works with ColorDesk. The trick is to get the correct .PICT file. I used online converter to convert JPEGs to PICT.

    Check out this video, seems like baking the LCD panel only with 85deg Celsius for 9 hours did help.
