@Phipli thanks! POSTbox seems to think it's a RAM failure, if I'm reading it right, so I am guessing I need to check around the RAM. Traces don't look bad, though, so it might just be the RAM chip gone bang
First time in ages I've felt up to doing old computer stuff, and managed to upgrade an Acorn A3010 from 'totally dead' to 'largely dead', which is good progress!
@SophieRose personally I find the weird ROM disc thing really interesting: makes it almost viable to run the whole thing totally discless, which you can't do with any other Mac.
@SophieRose SE is more practical, more robust, but a bit less charming, and doesn't have the weird ROM disk thing. Practically probably a better choice.
