PowerBook duo 210

I don't have a 210 but plenty of 230's.. I've recapped the logic board naturally and also the boards in the display as well as the any caps in the lcd display. The 230 has those little caps exactly like the powerbook 100.. There are like 8 little caps that leak.. I'm thinking the 210 may be the same.. I think they are like 3.3uf at maybe 50v.. can't remember... I use a needle to gently get under the little square stickers to access the screws for the display.. Then you have t slide up towards the latch to take off the display top.. there is also a plastic clip in the center at the bottom.. It is not necessary to remove the display from the laptop to access the lcd and boards. It's tricky.. I'd google the take apart guide to properly do it.

Is it possible to put the duos hard disk into an LC ll for file transfer

You'll have to cobble together the proper cabling/adapter going from PB SCSI cable to standard SCSI cable to do that. You'll need to set one (probably the LCII drive rather than the PB drive) of the drives to something besides the system default.
