Sad Mac icon

Found an old Machintosh SE, and it does turn on, but it only shows an error code with an sad Mac
icon and the Code
00000004
00000010

Does any one know what this code means?

Thanks for you help

It’s interesting with these old compact Macs which use RAM-based video as you can actually see the failed bits on screen.

You see this kind of failure surprisingly often.

Yes - it's really useful to be able to look and go 'oh look, 1 in every 8 bits is faulty'. Accidental, but cool.

In your case, @Ippkiss, since there isn't really much of a pattern to the glitches in the background I'd suspect the actual RAM rather than connections to the RAM, but I might be wrong.
