What is the source for these pages? Very detailed.
Hum, possible error - it says 16 greys for an LC 475 with 512k but 256 for a Performa 475 with 512k VRAM.
I suspect the 16 is right because you need 544k of VRAM to do 640*870 at 8 bits per pixel.
