I have noticed it's difficult to get them to sit straight up without slipping off the terminal. I can see where a bump or jar could knock it off its terminal after the case is on the computer.

+1 to this I'm afraid. It's almost like they need a little bracket around them to help them stay in place.

yes I am working on a 3d printed file one can make or have made..., but the 1/2 AA top housing battery click actually should be used to help hold it in place once you have it in.

They are meant to work with the top battery housing in place much like 1/2 AA battery. I am working on a 3d print file for those that don't have that top clip.

As a side note once you have it in I haven't had to much issues with it saying in place... I have these in about 20 or so macs I have ...

Overkill alert! Printed part would be nice, but pick up 1/8" a/o 1/16th" at Lowe's or the orange place. Scissors required.
