Went to my local thrift store today cuz I'm on vacation next week and got time to kill. Anyway, there in the computer aisle between a butt-load of 386's was an Apple //e platinum with a 5.25 Disk drive attached. Very nice condition. Around the corner, there sat a //gs with a 3.5 drive and keyboard included. Each costs $15.00, but I only have the cash to get one. Which one should it be?------------------ MacMoose Medical Spec., 68k MLA Total 68K Macs liberated: 9 and counting ------------------

The IIGS has 3 times the clock speed, ports and slots, the Mega II "//e on a chip", capable of displaying 4096 colors... In short, it has all the capability of a //e plus a whole lot more.

Well, I missed out on the //gs; it was already gone. But, I did get an Apple Color Stylewriter Pro in mint condition for the same 15 bucks, so I'm happy.------------------ MacMoose Medical Spec., 68k MLA Total 68K Macs liberated: 9 and counting ------------------
