I love it my new Quicktake 200, got one problem, I can't get my images on camera to my mac (6300) I know for sure that the cable is good, i uninstalled Quicktime 5 and installed the recommended QT 2.0, and I still get an unknown error when i go to view or transfer an image, I did sucessfully transfer and view 2 images when I turned off all extensions but AppleTalk, QT, and the other normal ones, I tried turning AppleTalk off and on and same ole, what could be the problem!

It's connected via serial port, right?

#1 - Turn AppleTalk off

#2 - Change AppleTalk to a different port than the one the QT200 is connected to (either ethernet or one of the serial ports that the cam isn't connected to)

#3 - Check to see that the serial cable is working, has no bent pins or corrosion

Ok cine, I did that and I made a special extensions set and I now get a 66% sucess rate, meaning I get an error for every 3 that I view/save/delete which is good so I can get them now! Thanks for the help!

Hey, a 66% success rate is good enough for the U.S. Gov't!

Glad you're able to get 'em, soldier!

Have fun with your camera!

It may be the cable, if the failure rate is really that intermittent. Have you tried with a known good cable?

Good news, I tried it on my new 9500 and no errors, I guess it was my silly 6300....
