Anyone ever get in a really REALLY creative kinda mood, but the world is against you?

I've been photoshopping a lot lately (some photo restorations: see http://www.danamania.com/temp/aridad.jpg and http://www.danamania.com/temp/sarahsarah.jpg) , and getting into illustrator more - oh I love that program, I think I could marry it!. I have the urge to -code- too ...and most of my 68k's are unplugged, and I'm tired, but I wanna create create create!

cos I want to code on the 68k's and play with them too but - this place is a mess and I'm lazy - hence I blame the world for it *grin*.

There's also the lack of inspiration thing going on!. :D. Photoshop is brillo for changing scans, but illo benefits more from outright creativity & talent - something that takes a bit more effort to muster up.

dana (really I just felt like complaining, I think)

Well now - oops - they were temporary pics that went to the webserver, sat around for a while and were deleted - so - they're not around anymore.

That is some good work, dana...

is, by any chance, the clone-stamp-tool thingy one of your good friends? (As a corbis-cropper, I have learned the fine art of removing watermarks from images taken from those image sites such as eyewire and getty1)

Ayup - clone tool and selecting the -right- bits for copying chunks of, filtering or changing levels/curves. That's the meat of it all :D

I'm more of a Canvas guy myself...

BTW Dana, could you take some photos of the key switch, Reset/Interupt switches, serial number and back info plate of your 950? I'm constructing a 3D model of one, and it's all done except for those few detailed bits that I'd rather do using 2D PICT objects.

I'd show you the final render (it's the front/right sides viewed from down low) but my 7200 is doing a rotation animation, it'll be busy for 6 more hours...

That sounds all good :D. it's way down on the floor at the moment - and I can't guarantee that the quicktake will get all that much detail - but can't hurt to try :D
