Are there any differences between PC and Mac HTML editing?, Like, I guess you can't link to your computer (for testing purposes) by writing "C:\xy\xxy.html"...what do I type instead? And image links? Bah, give me a general overview on mac HTML editing, will yeh?

Thanks!

I think that you can do that linking thing to pages on your local hard drive its something like...

Your Hard Drive Name:Folder:Folder:pagename.html

MacintoshHD:MyStuff:Web:links.html

But Not Sure...

In the Browser addy, you'll type:
file:///HD-Name/folder-name/doc-name.htm

For any spaces, type in %20

The easy way though, While your browser is open, just double-click the file to pull it up and you'll see the addy.

(thanks, Stryder)

HTML is (for the most part) 100% cross-platform

BTW, you can drag any folder/drive into your browser window and navigate that.

Turn on Personal Web Sharing and you can access your hard drive via IPAddress/Volume/Folder/File!
