*sigh* That site was great. I downloaded Monkey Islands 1 and 2 off of it.
Oh well....time to fill up the hotline servers!

I found a lot of games on retromac68k, but downloading off of that server is very shaky (not to mention shady). I would like to see some of those games on the more reliable torpedobird server.

I did manage to D/L all their files up to "S" (plus a couple of "T"s).

I guess I could start U/Ling to hotline if the server has space... We're looking at 393Mb here.

CC

Current score:

1 Apple //e
1 PB 520c
1 Quadra 700
1 Quadra 800 (recently resurrected!)
2 Powermac 6100s
1 Wallstreet

how long was that server up? did the man take them down?
does cooperative acquisition s.o.p. need to be formulated the next time a tasty source pops up?

I have about 70 68k games, myself. I'm thinking of either uploading them to our Hotline server...or...dare I say it...using my Quadra 840av as a Hotline server. I know we don't really need it, but I'd like an excuse to have it on/connected all day while I'm at work.

I'll probably end up putting my 950 online as much as possible. You know, we could always set up that 68KMLA VPN...

How do you go about organising something like WAN Bolo? I suppose AIM/Yahoo could work when we want to find out who's online.

well.. if you have a couple servers with virtual private networking setup between them... say, US West Coast, US MidWest, UK, and Oz... then each person would log into their local server, and via the VPN, we could see which poeple were logged iun.
