I bought 2 Quadra 950's. One of them is for sale in the Trading post.

The other I'm keeping, as it has 2 data aquisition cards in it, so I can get an ocilloscope running in my workshop.

Just like with Dana, Q-950's seem to come in two's...maybe they're Geminis? Lovers? Siamese Twins?

Or maybe they were just grouped together because they look the same [;-)]

They were on a pallate... all alone, surrounded by half dead monitors... High Res RGB, monochrome...

They seemed alive... their platinum shells gleaming amoungst the yellowed shells around them... each screaming to be taken from the pile of death around them... each injured and unable to climb themselves...

Somewhere I have a program that will let you turn any Mac into an oscillicope, it uses the sound in minijack for the analog input. You have to make your own probes though.

ooo ooo!

If you can find that programme, it'd be awesome!

then I could have a little Sillyscope in my room too, not just in the workshop.

Also, depending on the requirements, that'd be a great use for a compact Mac with sound in (Classic II, etc) and a little RAM.

If nothing else, hook the leads up to a raw radio antenna input and watch the pretty pictures.
